There's a brand new No.1 - the deeply relaxing compilation Classically Chilled.
Craig Ogden's reign at the top of the Classic FM Chart has been brought to an end by the compilation album, Classically Chilled. It brings together all the favourite chillout classics from classical music, adverts and films, featuring music by Max Richter, Einaudi, Karl Jenkins, Nicola Benedetti and Aphex Twin.
Elsewhere, the less-well known version, but hauntingly beautiful, of Belshazzar's Feast (not Walton's - but Sibelius's) enters the Chart at No.9. It's given the performance it deserves on Naxos, courtesy of Leif Segerstram and the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra.
