Norwegian pianist Leif Ove Andsnes has three new entries in this week's chart.

While last week's new No.1, the compilation Classically Chilled, holds firmly onto the top spot, there's a three-pronged attack on this week's Chart by the brilliant Norwegian pianist, Leif Ove Andsnes. For his Beethoven Journey project, Andsnes has performed and recorded all five of Beethoven’s piano concertos with the Mahler Chamber Orchestra. The collection of all five re-enters the Chart this week at No.6, while the album of Piano Concerto No.5 is a re-entry at 18, and the collection of Nos.1 and 3 is new in at No.26.

This week's highest new entry though goes to a legend of 1970s pop music, Mike Batt. The man who turned The Wombles into a chart-topping supergroup, and penned Bright Eyes for Art Garfunkel has released an album of his classical-styled tracks. It's also this coming week's Drive Featured Album on Classic FM.
