The Gloucestershire Youth Brass Band at the Schools Prom

As the Music For Youth Schools Prom gets under way, Classic FM's Tim Lihoreau has been chatting to some of the performers. Here he meets the members of the Gloucestershire Youth Brass Band.

The Gloucestershire Youth Brass Band was formed in April 2005 to provide young brass and percussion players with the opportunity to perform at the very highest level of youth music making.

Today’s performance is a real highlight for the band and their supporters as it is the bands first performance at the Royal Albert Hall.

Classic FM's Tim Lihoreau caught up with two members of the band ahead of their highly aniticipated performance.
