Movie composer Hans Zimmer will collaborate with Pharrell Williams for the soundtrack to the new Spiderman film, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Williams confirmed the collaboration in an interview with Billboard, reuniting the pair after previous collaborations on Man Of Steel and the music for the 84th Academy Awards Ceremony: "Hans Zimmer and I are scoring The Amazing Spider-Man 2."
The German composer enlisted Williams' talents as a drummer for a section of the Man Of Steel score last year, along with a starry line-up of drummers.
Zimmer's previous form with superhero scores has been exceptionally strong - his music for Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy has recontextualised how audiences think of Batman, while his Man Of Steel score had to compete with John Williams' original Superman music.
Zimmer is also in the mix to score the forthcoming Batman Vs. Superman film, though he recently admitted to feeling some trepidation about the prospect.
Williams has been in demand recently as a performer and producer, guesting on the chart-topping album from French dance act Daft Punk and producing Beyoncé's forthcoming new album.
