Alfie Boe: "Les Miserables has changed my life"

Alfie Boe arrives at the Royal Albert Hall to perform at the Classic BRIT Awards 2013.

Tenor Alfie Boe and Les Miserables star Samantha Barks are set to storm the stage at the Classic BRIT Awards. They'll be singing a mix of The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the Moulin Rouge love song, Come What May.

They both appeared in the 25th anniversary concert performance of Les Miserables at the O2 Arena in 2010.

Classic FM's Lucy Coward caught up with Alfie Boe on the red carpet and asked him about the musical.

"That song, Bring Him Home, set me on a bit of a journey," says Alfie.

He's also got hopes to marry his musical career with more acting - he's about to appear in Mr. Selfridge.
