Classic FM Chart: Alexander Armstrong is back on top, Joyce DiDonato is highest new entry

Classic FM Chart, November 13: Joyce Didonato’s In War & Peace is the highest new entry.
Alexander Armstrong's debut album A Year of Songs returns to no.1 in the Classic FM Chart this week. The resurgence of this year-old album is down to the success of Armstrong's follow-up album, Upon a Different Shore, which has made it into the top 10 of the UK albums chart, but is ineligible for the Classic FM Chart.

The soundtrack to the drama series Poldark is another re-entry at no.6 following the finale to season 2 last week. Elsewhere, the highest new entry is Joyce DiDonato's In War & Peace. Clare College Cambridge's beautiful Remembrance album, meanwhile, debuts at no.24.
