Prokofiev's woodland fairytale, but taken to the backstreets.

Birmingham Royal Ballet dancers have swapped the stage for graffitied alleyways, and tutus for hoodies – and we're living for it.

Choreographer Ruth Brill has created a new, urban take on Sergei Prokofiev’s symphonic fairytale 'Peter and the Wolf', featured as part of an upcoming triple-bill '[Un]leashed'. We reckon it looks ridiculously cool.

It will be performed alongside two other ballets, Jessica Lang’s 'Lyric Pieces' and 'Sense of Time', with a score by Gabriel Prokofiev, the grandson of Sergei.

[Un]leashed is at the Birmingham Hippodrome 12-15 June and Sadler’s Wells in London 25 and 26 June.
