Karl Jenkins on his Classic FM Live performance

Classic FM's Tim Lihoreau speaks to the composer ahead of his performance of The Peacemakers at Classic FM Live with Nissan in Cardiff.

Back on home turf, Karl Jenkins brought with him the UK's first exclusive peek at his new composition, The Peacemakers. Accompanied by the Philharmonia Orchestra and violinist Chloë Hanslip, the British preview followed its worldwide premiere in New York on January 16, 2012.

Speaking to Tim Lohoreau ahead of its performance in Cardiff, Karl told us about his love of the Welsh capital city, his method of composing and about performing with the "wonderful violinist", Chloë Hanslip.
