Karl Jenkins - Gloria

12 July: Last Sunday, 11th July, Karl Jenkins' latest work Gloria was premiered at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Now you can hear it performed in its first studio recording, which features the London Symphony Orchestra, Hayley Westenra, and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.

Listen out for 'The Prayer', a track which anyone who enjoys Karl's famous Benedictus is going to love. Also featured on this album is Jenkins' Te Deum, composed in 2008.  The Te Deum is a form that's been set to music by everyone from Haydn and Mozart to Britten and Elgar.  Like the Gloria, this Te Deum is unmistakably Karl - and we think you'll enjoy every minute of it!
