One of Hollywood's most successful ever composers, James Horner, is in the spotlight this week in our short series of exclusive interviews with many of the world’s top movie music masters.
Film music enthusiast and broadcaster Tommy Pearson catches up with the Oscar-winning composer behind the music for Titanic, Braveheart and Avatar and talks to him about his career, his collaborative relationship with Hollywood's A-list directors, including James Cameron and Ron Howard, and the stories behind his most successful scores.
He also reveals that he turned down the offer to score The Lord of the Rings.

In addition to his three most famous blockbusters, there will be plenty of music from Horner's other important scores, including Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan, Cocoon, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind and Aliens.
