Watch The Piano Guys’ dreamlike cover of ‘Avatar’ – if anything is going to make you want to spend your next holiday at Disney World, this is it.
The Piano Guys, classical music’s original YouTube sensation, have released a stunning new cover of James Horner’s Avatar theme.
Filmed at Pandora – The World of Avatar in Florida’s Disney World, the new music video is an ode to Disney’s magical Animal Kingdom.
Pianist Jon Schmidt, cellist Steven Sharp Nelson and their instruments are lit up with neon colours. Meanwhile, drone footage shows the floating mountains of Pandora and its bioluminescent rainforest in all their glory.
“We felt immersed in magic,” The Piano Guys said in a press release. “And to simultaneously pay tribute to the master musician James Horner was also a humbling opportunity.
“It was an experience unlike any other and we hope people who watch and listen feel the same spirit of boundless imagination we felt as played.”
