On Sunday David Mellor devoted his Sunday show to the varied and hugely influential work of John Eliot Gardiner. Which recordings do you have from this great conductor, and tell us your favourite.

Of course John Eliot Gardiner has recorded Bach, and lots of it. From his early Erato recordings, to his epoch defining period Bach on Archiv and new directions on his own label, SDG. Beyond Bach he's recorded Verdi, Elgar's Enigma Variations, a scrumptious Brahms Requiem, Monteverdi - the list goes on...
