"He was having a little bit of a cry earlier and Bryn sang him to sleep!", rhe famous Welsh mezzo told Classic FM's Margherita Taylor
Katherine Jenkins has revealed that Bryn Terfel sang her baby, Xander, to sleep. We caught up with Katherine ahead of her performance at the 2018 Classic Brits and asked her how her newborn was faring.
"He was having a little bit of a cry earlier and Bryn sang him to sleep!" The award winning mezzo-soprano said she thought it was the stature of "loveable Bryn" as well as his voice, that helped to relax the baby:
"It was the presence of this big huge giant... he stopped crying, listened and then started yawning like 'I'm enjoying this, I'm going to go to sleep!'"
Katherine was speaking to Margherita Taylor ahead of her performance of 'Never Enough' from the film The Greatest Showman.
Katherine also told Margherita that musicals were her "first love".
"When the Classic Brits invited me to come and perform this song I thought 'yes actually that's what I want to sing when I come back after having a baby'."
