This week, Howard Goodall pays tribute to the British composer Sir Malcolm Arnold, ahead of the seventh anniversary of his death on Monday.  

We’ll enjoy some of his most acclaimed film scores, including the music he wrote for Hobson's Choice - pictured - and David Copperfield.

And Howard shares the story of how Arnold became one of Britain’s most successful composers – not just within film music, but in many other genres, too.
