Game of Thrones with an Ennio Morricone soundtrack is (how is this possible?) even more majestic

Last week’s Game of Thrones featured a flashback to a super gruesome fight between Eddard Stark and Ser Arthur Dayne, ‘the sword of the morning’. And some absolute genius has set it to Morricone’s music for The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Morricone wrote the score for one of Sergio Leone’s Spaghetti Westerns, starring Clint Eastwood and it became one of the most famous pieces of movie music ever written.

And now, in one of those works of absolute genius to be found in certain corners of the internet, someone has put Morricone’s ‘Ecstasy of Gold’ from the film to this super gruesome Game of Thrones showdown outside the Tower of Joy.
