Worried about the future of classical music? Just watch this incredible 8 year old conduct an entire symphonic piece by Liszt (note: features multiple hair flourishes).

Edward Yudenich is an undeniable child prodigy. One of the youngest conductors in the world, he conducts the Student Orchestra of the State Conservatory of Music in Pashkent, Uzbekistan.

He is also a student of professor Vladimir Neymer, one of the country’s most revered conductors.

In the video, Edward can be seen conducting conduct the Uzbekistan State Orchestra in Liszt’s ‘Les Preludes’, the third of his 13 symphonic poems.

He’s precise, dynamic and has clearly got the entire thing memorised like the back of his hand.

Kid, you’re going to achieve great things.
