Tine Thing Helseth brings Christmas to Liverpool

Tine Thing Helseth will be in the UK this month performing with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for a special Christmas concert. Classic FM's Lucy Coward caught up with Tine to find out about it.

The acclaimed Norwegian trumpeter will be performing with Classic FM’s Orchestra in North West England for the first time as part of the orchestra's traditional Spirit of Christmas Concert. It's an evening of glorious festive music and readings presented by Classic FM’s very own John Suchet.

Tine is no stranger to Christmas music. Her album My Heart is Ever Present, a collection of her favourite Christmas songs, went gold in the Norwegian classical chart.

Classic FM's Lucy Coward spoke to Tine about working with the Liverpool Philharmonic, and her plans for celebrating Christmas in her native Norway.
