“I love what you did in rehearsals when you go quicker to the top A sharp,” Gardner says to Flórez over the piano.
“You often hear it together with the orchestra, but when you go quick and I wait, I can enforce what you have.”
What a treat it is to see two such great artists in a working rehearsal.
