One self-duetting trombonist, versus one of the fastest pieces of classical music of all time. It’s certainly viral video-worthy…

A musician has proved it is more than possible to play Rimsky-Korsakov’s rapid orchestral interlude, Flight of the Bumblebee, on the trombone.

Tacking two videos together, the viral trombonist plays the interlude as duet with himself (the power of the edit) with remarkable accuracy.

“No, I did not speed anything up,” he writes on the Facebook video caption.

The trombonist, who used to play for the Israel Philharmonic, is now a member of New York Brass – they record with artists like Kanye West and Jay Z.

‘Gold Digger’ as a follow-up duet?
