The Welsh choral sensation Only Boys Aloud are to make their X Factor performance debut on Sunday December 8th, on the results show.
Only Boys Aloud will make their X Factor debut on Sunday December 8th on the programme's results show, performing a song from their new self-titled album.
Speculation around the choir's appearance has described it as a snub to Girls Aloud on the part of The X Factor. The newly-reformed girl band, who feature former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole, have already performed on the show's ratings rival, Strictly Come Dancing.
The TV talent show has previously featured classical crossover stars like Katherine Jenkins and Il Divo, as well as producing operatic boy band G4 and Rhydian Roberts. Only Boys Aloud first shot to public attention when they finished third in Britain's Got Talent earlier this year.
The 140-member choir are also releasing a special Christmas edition of their new album around the time of the performance.
