Troy Carter, manager of Lady Gaga and head of Atom Factory, has signed up the dubstep violinist and YouTube star Lindsey Stirling.
Dubstep violinist and YouTube sensation Lindsey Stirling has been signed up by Troy Carter, manager of pop superstar Lady Gaga. Carter, head of the Atom Factory stable of artists, also manages R&B singer-songwriter John Legend.
Stirling, who toured the UK and Europe at the start of the year, told Billboard: After every other meeting I remember feeling so confused. But with Atom Factory, they were up to date on current things and trying new stuff all the time, and I felt so creatively alive when I met with them."
Carter commented on Stirling's mass appeal through her YouTube channel: "By looking at the numbers, automatically you could see this girl knew how to move the needle and understood YouTube was a venue to engage fans both online and offline."
Carter originally began his career working for rapper and actor Will Smith, before working for Sean Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment in the mid-90s.
