The latest high-concept video from violinist Lindsey Stirling celebrates music from the Assassin's Creed video games.

She's no stranger to epic music videos, but American violinist Lindsey Stirling's latest effort is particularly high-concept. Playing her own arrangement of music from the score of the Assassin's Creed III video game, Stirling appears in a mountainous landscape and battles enemies in a forest.

It's not the first time Stirling has used video game music in her videos. Previously she has performed arrangements of music from games like Skyrim and Zelda for her music videos.

The self-styled 'hip-hop violinist' shot to notoriety when she appeared on talent show America's Got Talent in 2010. Since being voted off the competition in the quarter final stages, Stirling has built a significant online profile, with over 955,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel. The Assassin's Creed video currently has over a million views despite being posted only two days ago.
