Katherine Jenkins to sing at Wembley

The classical crossover singer will perform the national anthems at the NFL’s Pepsi Max International Series game in October.

Katherine Jenkins is teaming up with former American Idol star Pia Toscano to perform the national anthems at Wembley Stadium on Sunday October 28. The game, between the New England Patriots and St Louis Rams, is part of the NFL’s Pepsi Max International Series.

This is Katherine’s third performance at the NFL’s annual showpiece in London. She also sang the anthems in 2009 and 2011.

Aside from her passion for singing, Katherine is a firm supporter of sports. This year she was selected as one of the official Olympic ambassadors for Team GB.

In the past, she’s performed at many sporting events, from Welsh rugby internationals to the Epsom races, and at the Olympic Games handover party outside Buckingham Palace.
