Mesmerising cellist Alisa Weilerstein brings the magic of a live recital directly to you in her latest performance for Classic FM. Here she's playing two movements from Bach's well-loved Baroque masterpiece, the Suites for Unaccompanied Cello.

The Prelude from Suite No. 1 in G is one of the most recognisable melodies for the instrument, and has been recorded by a host of famous cellists including Paul Tortelier, Mstislav Rostropovich, Yo-Yo Ma and Mischa Maisky. Listen out for the change in mood as the reflective Prelude gives way to the lively Minuet.
