Notes From Hidden Britain, Ben Fogle's Sunday drive through the nation's classical music heritage, took us to East Anglia. Here's what he found there
He lived in most of his life in nearby Aldeburgh, in the red house, next to Aldeburgh's golf course where he would take brisk afternoon strolls to clear his head for more composing. This picture was taken in 1955 in the garden of Aldeburgh and sees Britten having a discussion with Imogen Holst (daughter of Gustav) and tenor Peter Pears.
