Genesis keyboard player and classical composer Tony Banks shares his favourite pieces of music in this year's Classic FM Hall of Fame
Tony Banks was heavily influenced by classical music from a young age, before embarking on a sensational career as keyboardist in the prog rock band, Genesis. Fans of Tony as a rock musician may be surprised to learn he's written a number of film scores and is now a classical composer in his own right: in 2004, he released Seven: A Suite for Orchestra, performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and just last year released Six Pieces for Orchestra, performed by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra on the Naxos label.
