As long as the weather is on your side why not forgo the usual dinner date for an atmospheric summer stroll?
Here at Classic Romance, we have put together our Top 5 most romantic Gardens to visit in the UK.
This sub-tropical garden is at its best from June to September when it becomes a blaze of colour. It’s hard to believe this is a Scottish Garden and not somewhere on the Med.
This beautiful 8-acre garden surrounding the ruins of a medieval vicarage is delightfully peaceful. Perfect for getting-to-know-you chat.
These spectacular gardens include many water features, including one based on the Trevi fountain in Rome, and a splashing water maze. Good for a cool down in the summer heat.
This one’s got it all: magnificent views, ponds, woodland and fountains. If you’re feeling energetic you can row across the lake or you might prefer to relax amongst the colour and fragrance of the walled garden.
If the English summer is still a bit chilly, you can escape to a tropical rainforest and spend your date amid steamy jungles and waterfalls. Very exotic.
