Bob Jones' pioneering podcast series dedicates time to the artists and organisations that make the classical world turn - this week he talks to Blake.

When faced with losing one of their number - the classical boyband Blake went back to their roots and used the web to find a replacement. They were formed via Facebook - this time they tried Twitter. The result of this latest social networking experiment was Barney, who's joining the rest of the band on tour with Natasha Marsh later this month; and talking of the web, one of the intriguing sessions at the Association of British Orchestras conference in Cardiff was one give by DK who's firm Mediasnackers aims to spread the word on making the most of social networking, blogs and media sharing. He explains how it came about.
