Arts & Kids Week runs from, 27th October - 4th November and links families to over 700 arts events around the country, from storytelling, painting, drawing and design workshops to film making, animation, music and photography master-classes, concerts, backstage theatre tours and much more.
Having launched the project together, The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts and Classic FM are celebrating this ten year partnership and Jeremy Newton, Chief Executive of The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts shared his thoughts on why he believes the arts are such an important part of life.
"People underestimate the power of the arts...the arts can help reveal ideas or thoughts that you never thought you'd have, and all of a sudden you make a discovery about yourself or your circumstances that can change your life."
