Flight of the Bumblebee two pianos

By Amy MacKenzie

Sunny Li does something quite different with Rimsky-Korsakov's masterpiece...

Flight of the Bumblebee is known for being a standard showcase for solo instrumental virtuosity, yet often performers enjoy adding further challenges by playing insanely fast, arranging for other instruments or playing the whole thing in octaves.

Pianist Sunny Li decided to go one step further, and play Rachmaninov's arrangement for piano on not one, but two pianos, all while looking incredibly cool, calm and collected.

Watch the video below and let us know below what you think the next crazy performance of this masterpiece will be. Maybe on a melodica?

Flight of the Bumblebee… on two pianos

One pianist (the amazing Sunny Li), two pianos.
