Meet your new favourite musical instrument, the Wintergatan:

This beautiful hand-cranked contraption was dreamt up and built by Swedish musician (and genius inventor) Martin Molin. 

It's comprised of over 3,000 internal parts and took 18 months to build. The instrument features 2,000 cascading steel marbles that operate a vibraphone, drums, cymbals, fretted strings and tuned percussion to make music. 

It's an utter joy to hear, and so, so visually satisfying. We'll let Martin demonstrate...
