Though only in her 20s, violinist Chloë Hanslip has already established herself as an acclaimed international artist.

Life and Music

  • Chloë’s mentor for 10 years was Russian pedagogue Zakhar Bron. She has also worked with Ida Haendel, Salvatore Accardo, and Gerhard Schulz.
  • Chloë has performed with some of the world’s greatest orchestras, including the Philharmonia, London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic, English Chamber Orchestra, Hallé, BBC Philharmonic, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Royal Scottish National, Bournemouth Symphony, Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields, London Mozart Players, Seattle Symphony, Malaysian Philharmonic, and Tokyo Symphony.
  • Chloë has recorded six CDs, for which she has won various accolades, including Young British Classical Performer at the Classical BRITs 2003.
  • Chamber music is an integral part of Chloë’s life and she has participated in many festivals, including Open Chamber Music at Prussia Cove, Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival in Finland, Seiji Ozawa’s Chamber Music Festival in Blonay, Switzerland and Gidon Kremer’s Festival in Lockenhaus.

Did you know?
At the age of ten, Chloë Hanslip appeared as the 'infant prodigy violinist' in Ralph Fiennes’ film adaptation of Pushkin`s Evgeny Onegin, and in Maxim Vengerov’s Master Class, shown on Channel 4 and throughout Europe, as part of the documentary Playing by Heart.
