Tonight, two great concertos feature in full: Grieg’s mighty Piano Concerto with the pianist Krystian Zimerman, and Beethoven’s Violin Concerto featuring Viktoria Mullova.  Plus – a glorious piece of contemporary choral music that entered our Hall of Fame for the very first time this year, and a fine recording of Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake from the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
