Classic FM Chart: Peaceful Piano remains at no. 1 for the third week

It’s a game of baby steps for the majority of the Classic FM Chart this week - particularly the top 10. Peaceful Piano stays at no. 1 for the third week since it entered the Classic FM Chart, while the rest of the top 10 moves only one step up or down. Einaudi’s In a Time Lapse is the only album to climb into the top ten this week, pushing last week’s no. 10, Rogue One - A Star Wars Story, down to no. 16 - and the rest of the top 10 contains the same albums as last week. 

Elsewhere in the chart, the biggest faller is Monteverdi: The Other Vespers which drops 15 places from no. 11 to no. 26. The highest climber - 2Cellos’ Score - only rises 6 places up to no. 11. There are only two new entries in the Classic FM Chart this week. The first is the Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Ivan Fischer playing Mahler’s Symphony No. 3. The second new release to enter the chart is Arcadi Volodus’ latest album featuring the music of Brahms. There are also only three reentries this week, including Andre Rieu’s Love in Venice, Classical Chillout and The Lost Songs of St Kilda.
