The 2012 Swansea Festival

The 2012 Swansea Festival of Music and The Arts brings an exciting programme to venues throughout the city from 4th to 20th October.

There is a veritable feast of the arts with the finest of symphony orchestras; piano, song and organ recitals; jazz; opera; drama; classical and contemporary dance; animation; lectures; visual art and a schools outreach project.  Truly something for all tastes and ages.

Highlights include the St Petersburg Symphony Orchestra performing music by Stravinsky, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, and choral concert called Power and Glory: Music for the Royal Court.
