Discover three plays written by contemporaries of William Shakespeare. The Jew of Malta, Love's Sacrifice and Volpone, are showing at the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon from March 18.

Enjoy three brilliant tales of corruption and revenge written by three playwrights who lived and worked in the days of Shakespeare. The Jew of Malta is Christopher Marlowe’s subversive story of religious hypocrisy and political corruption. Love’s Sacrifice is a rarely performed, brutal revenge tragedy by John Ford. And Volpone is Ben Jonson’s classic tale of corruption, directed by Trevor Nunn with Henry Goodman.
