New for 2016! Between the 4th–7th August, Countryfile Live will be staged within the spectacular grounds of Oxfordshire’s iconic World Heritage site Blenheim Palace, celebrating the best of our British countryside.

Explore every aspect of the British countryside over four extraordinary days featuring the Countryfile presenters, Adam’s Farm, live arena shows, rare breed and other animal displays, the latest farming machinery, outdoor fun for kids, hundreds of food and crafts stalls to shop, the best of British food and drink plus much more.

It all adds up to a fun, inspiring and informative day out in the countryside the whole family can enjoy - and you can bring the dog!

Countryfile has become a Sunday night tradition for families all over Britain with a growing number of young fans. That’s why at the event, everywhere you turn there are free, hands-on activities to keep little ones happy and occupied.

Kids love the countryside and there’s no better classroom than the great outdoors. The event has got plenty to delight children of all ages, from the excitement of canoeing and tree climbing to a leisurely picnic on the traditional Village Green, complete with a bandstand and a maypole.

It’s the perfect setting for live, family entertainment such as Tug-of-War, Morris dancing, Punch-and-Judy, a vintage Funfair and the ever-popular village fete. This is also the place to see an array of rural crafts in action: you’ll be impressed by expert thatching, hedgelaying, drystone walling and woodworking whilst seeing at first hand the fascinating skill of the wheelwright, a hurdlemaker and much more.

Visitors to Countryfile Live will also have the chance to see wildlife, livestock and working animals of the UK. Nature’s kingdom is just waiting to be discovered. Join us ringside for daily shows featuring sheep, dogs, ducks, ferrets, falcons and horses. You’ll also be able to come along and get advice on walking and outdoor adventures in the Explore Britain area, find out where to explore, what to wear, the kit you need and the ‘clues’ in the countryside to help make any day in the countryside a truly memorable experience. Whether you want guided walks, a long distance hike, a day trip with the children or a foraging expedition, Countryfile has got expert talks and films to get you prepped and prepared.

The event will also tempt your tastebuds with fantastic food from across the country and around the world. Fine cuisine and classic dishes, pub grub and food on the move – and it’s all available to try, before you buy. From a sip of summery cider to Vietnamese street food, there are hundreds of producers and an endless array of products to satisfy your cravings or quench your thirst. Plus a traditional fayre, ice cream parlour and kitchen tips from TV chef Brian Turner.
