Eric Whitacre chats to Classic FM's Tim Lihoreau about the success of Virtual Choir 4 and its premiere at Buckingham Palace.
With the success of Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir 4 increasing with every day on YouTube, Tim Lihoreau (himself a participant in VC4) spoke to the composer about the impact it's had, as well as the controversial new dubstep direction for the performance itself.
To then premiere the piece in front of the Queen at Buckingham Palace was, Eric says, thrilling: "The audience really embraced it, there was a genuine cheer all three nights that we did it… it was a real highlight for me being there."
