Stephen Fry, Richard Wagner and The X Factor!

Dutton has spliced together clips of Fry’s acclaimed programme with The X Factor to make the broadcaster/actor appear as if he’s backing one of the talent show’s contestants.

The video, which was uploaded to Youtube a few days ago, has since become an internet sensation. Wagner, The X Factor contestant and Brazilian-born teaching assistant, is seen singing on the show while Fry appears to heap effusive praise on his talents.

Stephen Fry has taken the stunt in good humour, stating on his Twitter, “Can't decide what's funnier: the way [it’s] cut together or that some really believe I'm talking about the X Factor Wagner!”
