Friar Alessandro's seasonal album of Christmas Carols and sacred arias sees him ranging from Bach and Handel to John Rutter. Drive Featured Album, 9 December 2013.
For this album the singing monk made his first visit to the Holy Land and travelled to Bethlehem to record two of the tracks: Adeste Fideles in the place where Jesus was born and the Shepherd’s Field where the Angel appeared to the Shepherd’s to tell them of the birth of Jesus.
Also featured on two of the tracks is the official chorus of the Metropolitan Cathedral, Buenos Aires ‘Coro Regina Coeli’.
