Classical boy band Blake tell us about their forthcoming UK tour, the importance of social media for their group, and reveal news hot off the press.
Blake begin a 26-date tour of the UK at the end of August. An Evening with Blake will feature the group in intimate arrangements of core classical and classical crossover works, and they will converse with the audience. Stephen Bowman says the tour will be 'much more intimate and fun than people will be used to in classical concerts'.
The boys also talk about their search for a school choir via YouTube, in an effort to involve local people in their forthcoming tour.
Social media has been important to Blake since they launched in 2007. The original four members came together via Facebook and when Dominic Tighe left last year, new member Humphrey Berney was found through a search on Twitter.
Blake also tell us what other concerts they've got coming up in the next few months and, in an exclusive for Classic FM, reveal an exciting venture in the US.
