André Rieu performed in front of a packed stadium of football fans last week, treating the masses to a waltz.
Violinist and waltzing Dutchman André Rieu performed a spectacular half-time show at the Amsterdam Arena last week. Performing during the break when Ajax were playing Borussia Dortmund in a Champions League Clash, Rieu managed to get a stadium full of football fans cheering along to his waltz music.
It's not the first time that Rieu has entertained the masses at a football match - back in 1995 he played at halftime when Bayern Munich took on Ajax in the Champion's League final in 1995.
Rieu is due to visit the UK next month for a tour, bringing his Johann Strauss Orchestra with him for some special Christmas shows.
Saturday also saw the premiere of his 'Home For Christmas' concert special at cinemas across the country, featuring a live Q&A with André himself via satellite link-up.
