For her last show in this series, Charlotte continues her look at possibly the greatest composer of them all - Ludwig van Beethoven.
Charlotte Green's Great Composers
Join Charlotte Green every Sunday afternoon from 3pm for her Great Composers. Each week Charlotte Green's Great Composers will feature profiles of famous composers, beginning with Johann Sebastian Bach. During these two-hour Sunday afternoon programmes, Charlotte will also be profiling Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Elgar.
Charlotte has always loved classical music, and has presented a BBC2 series on classical music and the World Service.
Charlotte was named radio broadcaster of the year at the 2013 Broadcasting Press Guild awards, beating Martha Kearney, presenter of The World at One, and Jarvis Cocker, a Radio 4 and 6 Music presenter.
Classic FM's managing editor Sam Jackson said: "As one of this country's best-loved broadcasters, Charlotte Green is a true national treasure. After spending many years sharing the latest news with millions of listeners, we're thrilled that she'll now be sharing her love of classical music with our listeners on Classic FM."
Charlotte Green's Great Composers will be your chance to hear more from our best-loved composers or discover new works from new or old favourites.
