Harry Potter glass harp

Some wine glasses, a few splashes of water, and a performance full of musical sorcery on the streets of Italy

John Williams's 'Hedwig's Theme' from Harry Potter has been given a celestial performance on the streets of Venice. A nimble-fingered busker performed the movie music favourite on glass harp, and it takes you to a sound-world that's just about perfect.

Have a listen and see if you agree:

Here's another incredible rendering of the Harry Potter main theme – this time as a Bach-style fugue written by Alexander Wollheim - it's played here by Ben Horden, Sub-Organist & Assistant Director of Music of The Priory Church of St Bartholomew the Great.
