Classic FM's Anne-Marie Minhall sits down with the great Estonian conductor Neeme Järvi to talk about his post of artistic and musical director of the Orchestra de la Suisse Romande.

Having been announced as the new artistic and musical director of the Orchestra de la Suisse Romande in 2010, Estonian conductor Neeme Järvi is bringing his ensemble to the UK this year.

Discussing the touring plans, championing lesser-known composers and reflecting on his incredible career, Järvi also tells Classic FM's Anne-Marie Minhall about his family friend and fellow Estonian Arvo Pärt: "He's a very special person and personality, one of the greatest of our time. Thank God he's Estonian, like me!"
