The talented 23-year-old soprano shares the highlights of her career so far with John Brunning, and talks passionately about Baroque vocal music.
After being born into a family of geophysicists, Julia's career might have taken quite a different turn. Luckily, her family spotted her talent when she started playing the piano at the age of five, and she was soon making waves on the international stage.
Speaking to John Brunning ahead of the release of her new album, Alleluia, she shares the highlights of her incredible career so far, including being invited to perform at the Classical BRIT Awards by Dame Kiri Te Kanawa in 2010, and being discovered on YouTube by famous French conductor, Marc Minkowski.
