This week marks the new season of the hit Netflix series Bridgerton. Join us on Friday evening for The Sound of Bridgerton: Kris Bowers In Conversation With Margherita Taylor, a Classic FM exclusive. Bridgerton composer and recent Grammy-winner Kris Bowers gives listeners an insight into what it was like coming up with the themes that bring the on-screen story to life and what to expect in the new series. The programme will feature music from the series as well as other classical music that inspired him to become a composer. It all kicks off on Classic FM this Friday from 9pm.

His new album, Evening, presents solo-piano pieces handpicked by the pianist himself to capture the moods of the closing of the day. As the second part of his series, which began with the album Morning, Say has included French impressionist composers as the soundtrack to evenings, such as Debussy, Ravel and Satie.
