Terms And Conditions

Stena Line & Tourism Ireland on Classic Midlands, North & Scotland, September 2019

RULES

  • The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at www.classicfm.com) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to ‘Stena Line & Tourism Ireland’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Tuesday 10th September 2019 to Sunday 22nd September 2019 on Classic Midlands, North & Scotland (the “Radio Station”).
  • Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and the Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. 

Details of the Competition:

  • To enter the Competition an Entrant must go online to the competition page at Classicfm.com, answer a question and register their details to enter. Online entry will open at 00:01 Tuesday 10th September 2019 and close at 23:59 on Sunday 22nd September 2019.
  • One winner will be selected at random from all correct and eligible entries across all stations and will be contacted by Global within 28 days of the competition end date (22nd September 2019). 

Eligibility:

  • Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the competition.
  • This competition is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over. Entrants must have a valid passport.
  • No persons (including their immediate families) connected with the administration of this competition are eligible to enter.

Prize:

  • Provided by Stena Line: Return Stena Line ferry travel from ONE of the following: Cairnryan or Liverpool to Belfast, Holyhead to Dublin or Fishguard to Rosslare for a car for 2 people.
  • Provided by Travel Ireland: One standard twin/double room for two nights on a bed & breakfast basis (Dublin City and County excluded).
  • £1000 in the form of a cheque which will be issued within 28 days of the initial contact with the winner.
  • The winning Entrant must claim the prize within 28 days of notification.
  • Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.

STENA LINE TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

  • The prize is to be taken as stated, subject to the availability of Stena Line ferry concession space and accommodation.  Stena Line reserve the right to offer alternative accommodation if the original choice is not available.
  • This prize is for a car plus 2 people on our Cairnryan or Liverpool to Belfast, Holyhead to Dublin or Fishguard to Rosslare routes only.
  • All travel must be booked before 28 February 2020 and a minimum of 28 days before departure.
  • This prize is valid for travel on or before 31 March 2020 & will not be extended. 
  • Travel insurance and breakdown assistance are not included in the prize and you should make separate arrangements for these to ensure you have adequate cover in advance of your holiday.
  • Any items outside of the prize description are not included and will be at your own expense. 
  • No cash alternative is available. 
  • This prize is not transferable under any circumstances. 
  • Winners must provide their own transport.
  • Only postal reservation applications will be accepted.
  • Photocopies will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
  • Lost prizes will not be reissued or extended.
  • Additional passenger/trailer/caravan/accommodation/cabins are payable at the relevant price at the time of booking.
  • A valid email address must be supplied in order to receive booking confirmation.
  • Travel is applicable on Stena Line’s Cairnryan or Liverpool to Belfast, Holyhead to Dublin or Fishguard to Rosslare routes only.

 

TRAVEL IRELAND TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

On Course Travel to co-ordinate the accommodation on behalf of Tourism Ireland.

  • Availability of properties and facilities to be advised when dates have been provided – chosen from Irish Welcome Hotels/Abbey Tours Selection/Original Irish Hotels Group. Choice to be discussed with prize winner and within convenient drive of port of arrival in Ireland.
  • A minimum of six weeks’ notice required for arrangement to be put in place – choice of two dates to be provided.
  • Prize winner must contact On Course Travel with dates to secure accommodation prior to requesting ferry crossing from Stena Line.
    • Accommodation is subject to availability and excludes UK/Irish Bank Holiday Periods (from Thursday to following Tuesday) and when special events are taking place (e.g. Rugby Internationals in Dublin – see Pages 2 & 3) – travel to be completed by 30 June 2020.
    • Prize winner must claim prize within 28 days of notification.
    • Valid Passport/Photo ID may be requested at Ferry Port.
    • Carrier Terms and Conditions apply – prize winner’s mobile no. is supplied to carrier during reservation process.
    • Prize winner and guest must travel on same itinerary.
    • Prize transferable at the discretion of Tourism Ireland.
    • Prize not redeemable for cash, exchangeable for any other service or cash offered in lieu of unused elements of the prize.
    • No show or cancelling the arrangement invalidates the prize.
    • Any changes made after the arrangement has been confirmed will be at the expense of the prize winner. Travel tickets are non-refundable for cancellation and variable change fees apply.                                                     
    • Travel Insurance not included.
    • Car parking charges are not covered.
    • Prize is as described and arranged as one package – elements of the arrangement cannot be used separately or individually (e.g. using ferry crossing for one date and accommodation for another).
    • On Course Travel/Tourism Ireland is not responsible for costs resulting from cancellation or delays to transportation services.
