The Full Works Concert - Wednesday 20 March 2013: Concert Hall Favourites

Our series of concert hall favourites continues tonight, with a complete performance of Chopin’s heavenly Piano Concerto No.1 featuring the soloist Martha Argerich.

We’ll also hear the whole of Bach’s Orchestral Suite No.3, which includes that famous ‘Air on the G string’, and Dvorak’s Symphony No.7 in an acclaimed recording from the Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Ivan Fischer.
