The Full Works Concert - Wednesday 5 December 2012: Autumn Releases
An absolutely beautiful new recording of the Faure Requiem was released earlier this year – and tonight, Jane Jones gives you the chance to hear it in full.
Nigel Short conducts the choir Tenebrae and members of the London Symphony Orchestra in a performance that’s not to missed. Also this evening, we’ll hear a new recording of the Delius Piano Concerto, played in its entirety by Howard Shelley and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. Plus – a new take on the Barber Violin Concerto, and something from a bright, crisp collection of Baroque music by Corelli.
